Located in Jamestown’s historic Town Hall, the Jamestown Area Library was founded by an area resident group as part of the planning that came out of the Jamestown Long-Term Recovery Plan. It is maintained by volunteer residents and is stocked by donation. To learn what is acceptable for donation, please visit the Town Hall for guidelines or visit the Library FAQs. Library patrons are on the “honor system” with no sign-out or sign-in for books.
Library hours are the same as Town Hall hours, generally M-F, 9 AM to 4 PM, or whenever the Town Hall is unlocked.
